WHY CAN’T I LIVE IN A PALACE?

Oh Silly Me, Isn’t Everyone’s Home Their Palace?

So my first stop today was a Astorga.

Astorga was absolutely beautiful.

One of the things I noticed were all the chocolatier shops which is interesting because I think Lindt was the best! This was pretty good chocolate but not as good as the chocolate from Lindt.

I was able to tour the Cathedral and its museum. I also saw the Bishop’s a Residence which was built by Gaudi and it’s museum.

The pictures below are of both of those buildings which were simply spectacular.

THE INSIDE OF THIS PALACE WAS UNBELIEVABLE!

At one point I started to feel sad. I was reminded of two past experiences:

The time I was in Newport Rhode Island touring mansions and later dreamed I was a Vanderbilt living in their palace. Of course I woke up and I was NOT Anderson Cooper’s brother! Ugh!

  1.   Every time I watch Downton Abbey, I wonder what it was like to live upstairs knowing full well that if I were around then, I’d be downstairs!
