Valencia, Spain: What a Jewel!

On the Eve of My Departure, I’m Can Happily Say that I Am Very Glad I Visited Valencia!

For those of you who have not been following me on Facebook or Instagram, where I have posted many of these photos, let me share them with you here.

I will take you through a photo journal of my three days in Valencia, starting from my arrival until I have posted this.

DAY 1 – June 14, 2019

View from my hotel room! I did go to the beach soon as I arrived.
I had no clouds in the sky for the first two days and it was over 30°C
After the beach I jumped on the tram and headed into the old part of the city. I grab dinner and did some photos of the cathedral and other interesting buildings.
The Cathedral of Valencia And apparently it’s home to a best kept secret!

These two following photos are of the small chapel off the main altar within the cathedral .  The Chapel of the Chalice.  It has been verified by Rome that this is the true chalice used at the last supper !

SO GLAD I SAW THIS!  I came because I saw much about it on a documentary !

More of Night 1 in Valencia!

What a great way to enter a shopping street in the city! I Just walked through a true castle, moat and all!

I ALSO GOT BACK TO MY BEACH HOTEL TO TAKE PHOTOS BEFORE AND AFTER THE SUN SET!

The sun actually sets on the other coast of Spain which is the west coast . Valencia is on the East Coast so all we got were colourful streams of sunlight to brighten the sky .

DAY 2 – June 15, 2019

This was a hot and long day but I was able to manage seeing everything I wanted.  I read about a controversy in Valencia regarding the architectural design of a series of buildings to celebrate Science, The Arts, and the Aquarium .

This explosion of Photos coming up, reveals what has been built in the city.

I think they’re all truly spectacular as they are all linked with fountains and walkways and are visually stimulating !

It was a MASSIVE Complex spreading over several city blocks. Here are more photos of the other buildings in the suspension bridge that they had to build for traffic going across the complex.

DAY 3 – June 16, 2019

I  went back to the city today to take some photos of buildings  (Mostly all the apartments I would love to live in). I also climbed the tower in the cathedral which had 207 narrow spiral stairs.

After posting this, I’ll pack my bags for tomorrow’s EARLY flight home!

KEEP WALKING!
