One of the Most Stunning Places I Have Ever Visited!
Before I left Canada, I knew I really needed to see this place!
Monastery SAN ISIDORO: 11th Century
PHOTOS I TOOK TODAY
It was simply spectacular!
The artifacts we saw in the museum were too many to mention. We did see a Chalice made from 2 cups. It was ornate and beautiful. The Catholic Church (and other Christian Churches) say that the same cup was the one used at the last supper!
INSIDE THE CHURCH
MORE FROM LEON on a sunny warm day.
LEON WAS GREAT, but tomorrow I will say ” UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN” to my Aussie Family. ?
I am sad to say that I will need to move ahead in order to finish on time. I LOVE these ladies. It is not goodbye, just see you later. Â We are far too close! Helen, Angela, and Alison you have made me feel like family!
It won’t be the same, but that doesn’t mean walking on my own will be bad, I will just miss the laughs!
KEEP WALKING!
Dear Fellow Pilgrim Dan,
I have enjoyed following your journey. Your comments and photos have brought great joy to me. They took me back to my Camino in 2009 and my last in 2014 – solo.
I am a friend of Helen and her 2 daughters. I understand what it is like when you part company with people you have walked with for numerous days. But, meeting up again is beautiful.
All the very best.
Buen Camino
