A SPANISH SUNSET: The Perfect Time to Take Photos

As I think about bringing people to hike in Spain next June, I reflect upon some great photos that I have taken at sunset!

San Sebastián, Spain : Basque Country.

There is no question that I love sunrises and sunsets. I wake up at the crack of dawn everyday. I’m glad sunsets are at a reasonable time in the evening! I was in San Sebastian and went for a walk in the evening. It was still light out so I decided to walk the boardwalk of Playa de la Concha. The beach path (boardwalk) is nearly 3 Km long. It stretches from Mont Lgeldo east to the marina. This night was gorgeous and people were out including musical groups. The video in the link below made this particular sunset magical!

Valencia, Spain

The sun does not set over the ocean in Valencia. This is a reflection of the light from the west. I styed in a hotel on the beach but sunrises were impossible to get. The night time partiers went all night and I just couldn’t make a sunrise!
