Oh The Talents One Develops When Planning to Walk The Camino!

Pilgrim’s Credential and Backpack Patch

When you walk the Camino, it is very important that you get your Pilgrim’s Credential (Passport) stamped daily. Each Albergue (Spanish for Hostel) will stamp it, along with other places. Restaurants, bars, The Red Cross Station or the Police Station are other places that will stamp it.

I sent in my registration to the Canadian Company of Pilgrims. I just received my Pilgrim’s Credential!

I also received a patch that I can sew on my backpack. YES! I can sew it on. For those of you who know me, sewing is not a talent that I would confess to having. Today, I am going to try to conquer the art of sewing. Who knows what I may have to sew whilst backpacking? I am sure there will no foul language spoken today as I sew!

Let the sewing begin! This will take me all day to do!

SEWING UPDATE!

I Conquered the Thread & Needle!

I did it! I did it! VERY Little foul language too!

It is NOT the best job, but it is securely on!

I will admit that I am no Giorgio Armani, but I DID IT!

  1. Hi Dan, Congratulations you have made enormous progress. The certificate looks great. I like the fitbit idea. I just got back from our Europe romp and I wish that i had had something to track how much I walked and wandered through so many places.
How about a Canadian flag somewhere?
