We walked 24 Km in cold, cloudy, windy ,and rainy conditions! Such a crappy day, but we kept smiling!

Upon arriving at our Albergue, they seem to had lost our reservation ! In the end, we were given bunks scattered throughout the room! GUESS WHERE MINE WAS? Yep, you got it, right beside the bathroom… AGAIN!

It was a dump! La Laguna!  LOL!

We had to share a room with 20 strangers in 10 bunk beds!

Svetlana and Manuel made us the BEST paella! They are a couple in love and just started this business! They met 2 years ago walking the Camino.

As we went to bed, it was not long before the Albergue Serenade began! 20 human bodies making all the noise they could. We had the added advantage of squeaky beds and tornado force winds that just added extra ambiance! At one point, I was certain the roof was going to blow off for sure! You can only laugh because we know this isn’t the end if it!

Leon: September 16

Tonight I am in a hotel in Leon in my own bed! I am close to going to bed for what I hope is a great night’s sleep

Enjoy these photos of Leon! More to come!
