I Finally Made It!
I arrived here in Bordeaux France yesterday and I must say it wasn’t the easiest of trips I’ve ever taken.
I flew from Toronto directly to Paris. I wondered how interesting this trip would be is soon as I met the person who was sitting beside me on the plane.
A middle-age woman came as I was sitting in my seat and she asked if she could get into the seat next to me. When she sat down she turned to me and said the following ;
” Excuse me sir. I just want you to know that I have really bad gas and I hope it doesn’t act up on our flight!”
WTF? Seriously, WTF- who says that?
I thought to myself, you have got to be kidding me, this cannot be happening. I cannot sit beside a woman who has gas for 7 hours!
I simply turned to her and I said;
“Don’t worry mam, I’ll just put my earplugs in my nose and breathe through my ears if your gas acts up.”
She laughed out loud and said you must be a comedian. I won’t share what I wanted to say.
I rolled my eyes and thought this cannot be happening to me and then at that very moment the flight attendant came and said she found her seat beside her husband . Thank Goodness the lady with bad gas was gone!
The rest of the trip was pretty much uneventful but just very very long .
I had a three hour layover in Paris followed by a four hour train ride to Bordeaux. I got to my accommodation around 7 o’clock at night and headed out for dinner and came home exhausted and fell asleep .
I was able to grab a few pictures that night before I headed to bed and he eagerly await my morning exploration of this beautiful city.
Despite sitting on an airplane in at train terminal in on the train most of the day when I went exploring Bordeaux I was able to clock on 17,800 steps on my day of arrival
KEEP WALKING!!!!
