The Two Week Mark!
September 05, 2015 – Day 14
I have learned a lot thus far from the Camino and I know there is so much more to come! Some Pilgrims would criticize our distance covered and walking pace, but I really don’t care! It is MY CAMINO! We have covered over 230 Km in 14 days, including a rest day in Pamplona. My body feels every Km walked!
Today I walked 28.5 Km – OUCH! It was a PERFECT WALKING day. The morning was cool and cloudy and the afternoon brought us sun and warmth!
We left Azofra and its Town All Night Festival! We met some late party boys at breakfast. We hit another all night long festival. We were delirious with fatigue and these kids were delirious with drunkenness!
These are my photos from today’s walk!
The Albergue we are staying at may have been an old convent. There is a church attached!
KEEP WALKING!
Fantastic! We miss you but are very happy that you are having an awesome experience. Keep on walking your way!
Fantastic photos. The photos of the floor were beautiful. I loved the shot of the long road ahead and all the people walking along at their own pace.
Congratulations on the two week mark! You have a talent for photography. Beautiful pictures!
Hello from Ireland 🙂 Dan it was a pleasure meeting u. We were hoping our paths would cross again. We finished in Belorado and took the bus to Burgos. We found the Azofra to Granon walk tough and unfortunately stayed in (what we since heard is) the infamous hippy bedbug hostel 🙁 at least two of our group had bed bugs and two had a belly ache from dinner ?
I’m delighted to read your progress and see your beautiful photos. Buen Camino to all the group
