August 27, 2015 – Day 5
Oh I had so much fun today! My new friends and I toured Pamplona with our tour guide being our Camino pal, George ( see photo below). George is a fellow pilgrim who has been here before.
We saw the Basilica, the main street where they host the Running of the Bulls, ate a great Tapas lunch, and a fabulous dinner.
Tomorrow, we will hit the pavement at 6 am. It is a great time to start the walking because we walk for 6 + hours and avoid the heat. We have a huge elevation climb tomorrow!
Here are pics of what we saw today.
I had a great day! Thanks to George for showing us Pamplona!
KEEP WALKING!
Looking great Dan!
Congratulations, Dan! I’m so happy you’re finally living your adventure! Your blog is GREAT! Go-go, daddy-o! Sending hugs and Charlie kisses your way!
Brian. This experience is simply amazing
And now the real fun begins Dan. It’s not a race. Enjoy.
Hey Dan
You should start to feel stronger soon. Great idea to get up early to beat the heat. It was 37 when I went through the Meseta and we got up really early. Besides its hard to sleep in the albergues anyway! Glad you have found good people to walk with.
Hey Dan,
I’m really enjoying your blog! It looks fantastic over there and I might have to give it a try when I retire! You sound like it’s all you had hoped for and more! Keep well and keep on blogging!
Oh ya, keep on walking!
Sandra
